Role & responsibilities
- Work in our SAP Consulting Department as an independent project manager
- Be responsible for all aspects of project management, including scope definition, requirements gathering, detailed project planning, monitoring and controlling, risk management through to successful launch and post-go live adoption
- Define the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle
- Management of project phases from initiation through planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, formal closing, and preparing for Post-Project Review
- Provide ongoing collaboration with the implementation team and project stakeholders, working on roles and responsibilities agreements within the project
- Assist team of consultants and developers in their daily project challenges, consulting on various solutions and approaches
- Active participation in project managers’ meetings
- Seek proactively new solutions and taking initiative in process improvements
- Provide support with your experience to others in overcoming project impediment and ensuring high-quality team communication
What we expect
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in various SAP projects management with clear evidence of successful application of project methodologies in different companies and clients
- A track record of successful delivery of projects, combining enterprise system configuration, operational readiness and team management
- Experience in working with external clients in delivering and managing SAP projects
- Have experience leading at least 1-2 SAP projects through the full cycle of development – from presales and collecting business requirements to the go-live stage and/or support services
- Focus on integration of all project elements (scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, risks, procurement, and stakeholders) to achieve the business and technical goals
- Some technical experience in leading projects (from the product development process, IT operations, interfaces and workflow)
- Proficient knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., SolMan, MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, SAP Activate, etc.)
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office tools, especially very good Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word skills
- Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders; negotiation skills and the ability to establish terms of cooperation with various external stakeholders
- Knowledge of team management methodologies, team facilitation skills, and a focus on collaboration effectiveness (experience with working agreement documents)
- High level of independence in organizing one’s own work and teamwork; ability to combine individual work with teamwork
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Openness and flexibility for working in an international and culturally diverse environment
- Fluency in both Polish and English (B2/C1 level) – MUST HAVE
- Active driving license for passenger cars – MUST HAVE
- Openness for business trips (up to 30% of the time)
Nice to have
- A proven track record of working with cross-functional international teams, including software development, supply chain, logistics, would be a strong asset
- Project management certifications (e.g. SAP Activate) or higher education in this field
- Experience with projects involving logistics modules
