SAP Logistics Management
in one Cloud Solution

SAP Logistics Management
SAP Logistics Management is a new cloud-based SAP solution that helps integrate warehouse and transportation management into one clear system.
SAP Logistics Management (LGM) was introduced in October 2025. The main goal of its implementation is to cover small and medium-sized warehouse and transport requirements for which classic EWM or TM are simply too complex and for which implementation would not be cost-effective.
LGM functions as a Software-as-a-Service product on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Its implementation and connection to existing ERP solutions can be carried out cost-effectively. Thanks to standardized processes and simple upload functions, a warehouse can be mapped quickly. In addition to classic transport orders, BN4L functions will also be available to enable communication with carriers.
And all this in one solution, with clear tools that digitize, network, and, with the help of Joule, also simplify everyday logistics.

One Connected Logistics Network
Previously, local warehouses worked independently with manual coordination and limited system integration. This created delays, inefficiencies, and restricted visibility across the supply chain.
.
With LGM, all operations are digitally connected, synchronized in real time, and managed through a centralized platform, delivering transparency, efficiency, and control.

FAQ
What is SAP Logistics Management?
SAP LGM is a cloud-based logistics module deployed on the SAP Business Technology Platform. It combines key warehouse functions, transport operations, and collaboration with carriers in a unified environment.
The solution is primarily aimed at locations with simple to medium complexity, for which EWM or TM would in many cases be too extensive or too heavyweight.
The focus on essential logistics processes also makes it even more user-friendly and reduces implementation times even further than is already the case with public cloud solutions.
Is SAP Logistics Management replacing SAP EWM or SAP TM?
No. SAP Logistics Management is a standalone solution that does not replace SAP TM or EWM, but complements them.
SAP LGM is a lighter-weight solution for small and medium-sized warehouses and transport requirements that do not require a high degree of complexity. The result: an additional solution for small and medium-sized warehouses in the SAP ecosystem that did not exist before.
Can SAP Logistics Management work with existing SAP systems?
Yes. SAP Logistics Management can be used as a standalone logistics module and connected to an ERP system from SAP in the traditional manner. It can also be used in parallel with EWM and TM, thereby expanding and optimizing the logistics network.
Is SAP Logistics Management only for large companies?
No, due to its flexible application options, the LGM is an attractive option for any company that has not yet digitally connected its storage locations.
