How to overcome the limitations of standard S/4 HANA TM: EWM integration and other insightful discussions at SAP Industry Days 2023

Read on to unfold what happened at the SAP Industry Days event in Serock, Poland.

SAP professionals, as well as VESLOG and other partners, had the opportunity to discuss the ERP System S/4 HANA Cloud solution, Digital Supply Chain – SAP EWM and TM modules, SAP Signavio, SAP Build, and many other topics at the SAP conference.

The conference’s purpose was to propose solutions that would be the ultimate support for the customers’ enterprises through these unpredictable times (global pandemics, economic crisis, etc.). From where the event’s catchy phrase ‘SAPport for your business’ came from.

We were happy to be a part of this conference and to be capable of greeting clients and partners at our stand with customized gifts. The finest highlight, however, was when our lecturer and Senior SAP Solutions Architect, Dominik Tylczyński delivered a presentation titled “How to overcome the limitations of standard S/4 HANA TM-EWM integration.”

During the presentation, Dominik addressed the standard integration of the TM module with EWM, as well as an overview of the real shipping process from order to loading. Moreover, our speaker explained the functional limits of the SAP standard and how to overcome them, such as document flow unification, integration of events, containers, seal and registration numbers, and loading. Lastly, listeners were given a chance to learn more about Advanced Shipping and Receiving.
